Desire2Learn (D2L)
The college has a learning management system named
Desire2Learn (D2L). Every FRCC class has a D2L course shell that you can use.
If you want to know how D2L works in your classroom, you should check out the

In other
words,
D2L is a learning management system that allows Lone Star
College to provide their students with the necessary tools for education.
D2L is a learning management system that was created by LSC
in order to allow them to provide their students with the necessary tools for
education. This includes online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. The platform
also includes features like course content, course materials, assignments and
grades, student collaboration, chat functionality, and more.

About D2L Lonestar Email
As you know that if you are a Lonestar College student, you
have two Lone Star College email accounts: myLonestar and D2L email email. Now we are going to share some
information with you about that on this page. Keep reading till the end.
MyLoneStar
Email and D2L Email
You should be aware that you can only access D2L email from
within the D2L learning management system. Only myLonestar users have access to
their email.
Email
- myLoneStar
MyLonestar is the college's official email system. You may
send and receive official Lone Star College correspondence via your myLonestar
email. You'll get access to a fully functional email system through this
myLoneStar site. Additionally, you will have the ability to email anyone,
including those who are not affiliated with Lone Star College. Bear in mind
that your contacts list does not contain any email addresses for your
classmates.
Email
- D2L Email
D2L email is your email account for your online class, and
it's called that. People at Lone Star College can use their Lonestar.edu email
accounts to send and receive messages through the D2L Learning Management
System and through the D2L email. When you are in class, you will be able to
use your D2L email account to send messages.
D2L has two ways for
you to get to your D2L email.
Go to the Navbar and click on Email.
You can get to the Message Alerts in the Minibar. Finally,
click on the envelope.

If you've forgotten your password or student email, you may
quickly recover it by following the steps below.
On the login screen, click the Reset Password link. Enter
your LSC ID number or Lone Star Email address and click Submit. Your student
email will be issued a password reset link. Now, reset your password. For email
recovery, if you've lost your email or can't access it. Get Email Address For
this, you will need to enter your LSC ID number or the last four digits of your
social security number.
